Neelum Valley

Neelum valley is situated in Azad Kashmir it is one of the biggest districts of Azad Kashmir. Muzaffarabad is the capital of Azad Kashmir. The Neelum River was known as the Kishan Ganga River renamed after the village of Neelum.  Neelum valley is about 144km long. It is the most beautiful valley to visit in Azad Jammu Kashmir. Neelum valley has many beautiful lakes and meadows to visit. Thousands of tourists visit Neelum valley every year. Especially in the summer season, tourists love to visit Neelum valley as in the summer season you will find it more beautiful greenery everywhere.

Tourist Attractions in Neelum Valley | Places to Visit in Neelum Valley

Arrangkel is the most beautiful tourist attraction in Neelum valley. It is located on a hilltop near Kel village on altitude 8379 feet. Arrangkel is accessible by a 2KM walking/hiking track from Kel. It can also be accessed half kilometer long cable car administrated by Pakistan Army.

Taobut

Taobat is a village in Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is the last station in Neelam valley. It is located 200 KM (120 mi) from Muzaffarabad and 39 KM (24 mi) from Kel. It is also the nearest location from where the Kishan Ganga River enters Pakistani territory and becomes the Neelum River. Taobut is the most beautiful tourist attraction in Neelum valley. Taobat is accessible from Kel by unmetalled road. There is a motel of AJK Tourism and Archeology Department and a small number of hotels.

Chitta Katha Lake

Chita Katha Lake is situated in Shounter valley in Neelum valley Azad Kashmir on altitude of 13500 feet. There are two ways to get there at Chita Katha lake first is from Kel. Hiking track of 8 to 10 hours starts from Hoza(a small village) and 2nd track is from Shounter valley and it is very tough hiking track. The lake is very beautiful.

Ratti Gali Lake

Ratti Gali Lake is located in Neelum valley in Azad Kashmir. Ratti Gali Lake is the most famous tourist attraction in Neelum valley. Ratti Gali Lake is located at an altitude of 12,130 feet. The jeep track of Rattigali lake is about 19 kilometers long and it starts from Dawarian.

The lake is very beautiful camping is also available at Rattigali lake. A small restaurant is also available to eat. Jeep rates for Rattigali lake are 8000 to 10000.

Kutton Waterfall

Kutton waterfall also known as Kundal Shahi waterfall is located near the Kutton colony in Neelum valley. This is the most visited tourist spot in Neelum valley. The famous Kutton Jagran resort is located next to this beautiful Kutton waterfall.
